Showed up for an open event that worked me hard, and have been a member ever since. Owner is very knowledgeable, keeps the place extremely clean, too easy to work with great guy! Great group of members, great for kids. I have had some injury/joint issues, and Isaiah knows a substitute for everything. Really great coaching on the big things to the micro details you’d never think about. If anyone is even slightly interested in this sport, def stop by and/or contact Isaiah.

My journey with crossfit began with a series of on-ramp classes where the owner/coach, Isaiah, went over basic barbell lifts like the squat and the deadlift, Olympic lifts (clean and jerk, snatch), and basic bodyweight movements. I found these slower paced classes extremely helpful and eased my nervous feelings.nnCOVID pandemic. Once cleared to re-open, 957 maintained a very safe environment. The members clean equipment and sanitize their station after every session. The coaches ensure we manage a safe distance and they limit class capacity.nnConcerned about not being able to do some of the movements? The coaches at 957 can show you how to scale the movement for any limitation.nnThe people, coaches and the environment at 957 Crossfit are top notch!

A couple disclaimers up front: 1. This is my first experience with CrossFit, so I don't know how this gym compares to others. 2. I forgot what 2 was going to be. Sorry.nnSo let me start by saying that for the longest time I was a person who didn't like the idea of CrossFit. As a medical person, I treated many injuries and ailments caused by people (improperly, as it would turn out) CrossFit. I was pretty reluctant to give it a chance.nnBut 2020 happened and gyms everywhere shut down. I got fat and lazy. And then I saw 957 had opened back up, and was the only open gym in town. I figured, why not try it?nnBest decision ever. All the bad things I had heard about CrossFit are entirely untrue here. Isaiah and Jaime are phenomenal coaches, extraordinarily knowledgeable and patient, with a heavy focus on form. The facility itself is new, great equipment, and an atmosphere that feels more like a get together with friends than a workout.nnAnd these workouts are effective for whatever fitness goals you may have. In the short time I've been going, I lost my quarantine gut, fit pants that I had grown out of, made strength gains I didn't think possible in such a short time, and improved my overall conditioning.nnBottom line: you won't regret signing up and taking this challenge.
