Staying and using The Fish House was a unique experience for our family. Three nights of enjoying the space which we were lucky to have to ourselves. I loved listening to the frogs at night, seeing The Admiral (the swan) in the morning and hanging out in The Fish House both day and night. The cabin is sweet and comfortable and has a powerful AC unit. The bed in the loft is comfortable but be aware that you do need to climb a ladder and it’s a bit tight when you roll over (under the eve).nMaude was very attentive and really wanted us to have a good time. Please know you may want to bring drinking water especially for the cabin. Extra fees for the boats and firewood but it’s still an inexpensive getaway. Loved it!

Peaceful, well-maintained property. We enjoyed the sounds of nature, relative solitude, and the outdoor shower. Kim was conscientious and kind, and obviously cares deeply about this space. (Kim - watch out for that bamboo {?} that's appearing on the southern edge of the wetlands near the blueberries.) Thanks again for letting us visit! :)

What a beautiful campsite!. Everything you need to enjoy a weekend in the wilderness. Safe good fun. Kim was a great host and I will definitely stay here again.. the fishing was great. The other guest where a delight. Such a picture perfect place

Group of four stayed for the weekend and had a great time! Peaceful, quiet, and the owner is available on the property for prompt answers to your questions and friendly chats. The fish house is relaxing and has running water and basic kitchen supplies like a hot plate and utensils. Bring a tube and float on the pond!

I have stayed 3 separate occasions at Cedar Dam and can't stay anywhere else when the barn is available. Kim is a fantastic host and any time I need something her response or assistance is prompt. My stays have been on weekdays so far, and my interactions with other guests to the property have been positive.nThere is no shortage of wildlife on every corner of the property. Remember that you are a guest at their home and pick up after yourself. Respect is expected!
