Wonderful state park where General R.E. Lee lost a substantial part of his Army of Northern Virginia just prior to the events at Appomattox Court House.
Great battlefield park, with lots of walking trails. The historical markers tell the story, and the visitor's center has a great presentation, as well. Highly recommended.
Overly area. Lots of history. The staff and volunteers are great!
Well maintained. Peaceful. Nice short trails for the kids.
Nice smaller museum, some artifacts and weapons on display. Park employee helpful friendly and knowledgeable.
