I had a really weird experience. The counselors must have gotten my paperwork messed up, because when I arrived, it wasn't the camp I signed up for at all. It was like a cluster of different camps?? I vividly remember the names, but I know magic camp was an option; because there was two of them. As for the staff, the two camp counselors were okay. They were both good at their jobs, but you can tell that one of them was more down-to-earth and kind of the glue holding the place from exploding. The other one was just way too optimistic about everything.. and always rambled on about different types of trees.nI really could've gone without their food. The guy preparing it had a hook hand and looked super sketchy - I literally found a converse in my mashed potatoes. Lost my appetite after that.nThere was also an ex convict 'serving time'. The cheery counselor said he was on the road to becoming a... 'swell person'. I don't really think he is, he offered me twenty-five dollars to do his morning chores for him.nGod, don't even get me started on my fellow campers. They were /all/ troublesome. I think the worst was this boy in a blue hoodie, I think his name was Matt?? or something close to that. He and his two friends blew up the inside of the mess hall, launched fireworks on the shore near the lake, exploited capitalism through selling rocks disguised as iphones, and somehow unleashed a swarm of bees in the counselors cabin all within the week I was there.nnBut the trouble wasn't only started by them. Some weird rivaling camp from across the lake stormed over and attacked us all for no reason other than 'overthrowing maximillions wrath and causing anarchy to claim camp campbells property and all who dwells there'. All the other camp did was host a bake sale to raise money for a charity they founded... but it turned out all the money was going to getting them jets in their hot tub.nAfter sharing a tent with a shorter version of Hitler for a week, I decided to pack my bags and sneak into the counselors cabin to get the hell out of there.
