Whether you are a beginner or an accomplished artist, this is a great place to go! Jan and Nancy are extremely welcoming, and the setting is very peaceful. All of the meal were delicious and varied. Jan is very knowledgeable in many media and principles, and he is willing to share that and help you. The course is relaxed, but you will be pushed to accomplish projects that you may or may not have intended to do. It was an amazing experience, and I very much look forward to returning for a longer stay! Thank you, Nancy and Jan!

This retreat exceeded all of my expectations! Having never experienced plein air painting, it was wonderful to have Jan's instruction, easels to use, and fabulous scenery to paint! The manor was warm and inviting and wonderfully decorated with fabulous art. Greatly enjoyed the company of our hosts, who felt like old time friends, and the company of our fellow guests. Oh I had such a nice time here! It was homey and hospitable. Both Nancy and Jan meet you where you're at. Nancy on a food front and Jan with art instruction. No matter your experience level with art, you will learn something from Jan. I loved being able to talk and do art for 3 days in a row! Thank you to you both!
