This place used to have the best cheese steaks I had ever eaten but they have fell off over the past couple years for some reason they just don't taste near as good as before and I think it has to do with the people cooking now. Not only is the taste suffering but so is service as it's the 2nd time they messed up my order after stressing to them several times not to put mayo on my sub I get home and it's loaded with mayo I can't help but think it was intentional after telling the guy several times he must have got mad and decided to ruin my evening as my sub was inedible for me and it was too late to return it something needs to change or they gonna lose customers what a shame.
We had a cheese steak, which is usually great. This was the first time we had been there in a couple of months. The meat on the cheese steak was full of grizzle. Not good! What's going on? This was the Elizabeth's in Collinsville.
The young man at the register (wearing glasses) was extremely rude. Not with just us, but everyone who he dealt with. Manners go along way! Food is great...but lets learn how to treat your customers!
Gotten take out twice recently. Good Sunday special on pizzas. Pizza was plenty cheesy and very delicious, stromboli was also awesome. I believe they are open now for limited capacity dine in, but both times I went it seemed like all of the business was pretty much carry out orders. Definitely recommend.
