Foothill Momma's BBQ Juke Joint

Excellent food and extremely attentive service. Bbq pork was tasty and had three choices of sauce, ribs were tender and flavourful, and fried catfish was crispy and well seasoned. The cornbread and honey butter were amazing.nnAllergy friends: they use canola oil in fryer. They did have a grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwich on the kids menu. I think there were nuts in desserts. Regular menu had lots of safe options.

Very good food, wonderful service. Sat down right away and food came out quickly. The pulled pork quesadilla was fantastic as well as the pulled pork sandwich. Sweet potato fries were the best side. If you're coming through Lexington, stop in for a quick bite.

Great food. Friendly staff. Upon seeing a few are the reviews I'm going to clarify one thing. The smoker they have outside near the restaurant is fully functional and is in use everyday they're in business. the smoker that was mentioned is actually a wood stove made out of a barrel on the back of the 63 flatbed outside. It is been that way since I work there in 2014 and the menu items have not changed that much except for the macaroni and cheese recipe. It's more conventional it has no garlic in it. all of the other negative reviews are sour grapes by previous track and their customers who don't get coddled the way they used to be. It's as simple as that. I'm a fan of both the old ownership and the new ownership. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. You get what you pay for their unlike certain other places in this town. One of which has a rather nice crimson Chicken on its logo. What's up previous review we're someone refused to pay for their border. Is really simple that if you do not pay and feel dissatisfied the owner can and will call the police if they choose to do so that's any business in the area not this one in particular. The person that who was complaining sounded entitled to a degree I haven't seen in a long time. The customer is not always right and if you don't like the new menu for the new practices don't go there. for every one idiot like that there's a dozen people waiting in line to get in the door. Update. I went in there after a long absence and found that the place is still top notch. Unfortunately right now they can't do counter seating but that's okay. The White staff was very attentive and came back to check on me several times. Food was as good as ever. This place has been consistent and a delight to visit ever since they opened up and when I work there. The new management and ownership have kept up the level of quality and service. Couldn't be happier

The pork chops are thick, meaty and delicious! I also tried the smoked sausage on my last visit and it was great. Service has always been fine. I wish they were closer to me as I would be a regular customer.

My first time to visit Foothill Momma's. I ordered the special - the brisket platter with two sides. I tried the macaroni and cheese and collard greens as the side, with their vinegar BBQ sauce. Everything was fantastic. The brisket was very tender and had the perfect amount of marble for a wonderful meal. The staff was friendly and the order came out promptly. Just what I was looking to eat for lunch!
