I was lucky enough to travel to Martinsville VA last week which meant LUNCH AT CAPTAIN TOM'S!!! Their seafood is SO GOOD & it almost as good as eating at a restaurant at the beach! Their broiled scallops are out of this world good & their fried oysters are incredible as well. If you're in the mood for good seafood, Captain Tom's is the place to go!
I was in town for a soccer tournament and got to the restaurant about 30 min before they were closing. The Hostesses and waitress were very nice and tentative. The prices were fair for the proportions received. The food was very hot and fresh.nI had the two item combination of devil crabs and chicken tenders. It looked like it had been a very busy day as there was lots of food under my and other tables from the last customers and they probably had not had time to vacuum and clean up. I would definitely recommend this place, only complaint was, the only music they played was all oldie goldies, which I did not enjoy listening to. Not everyone can relate too and it made the building even feel old and dated. A variety would made for a better atmosphere.
Great staff. The plates are huge! More food than I could handle. Wife and I could have shared a plate and be fine. Definitely recommend

Been here a few times since we moved to Ridgeway. Have always received great friendly service, and super great delicious food. I highly recommend this restaurant. Great place to eat.
