Frequently go to the dog park here. Lots of dogs and nice people. Please note that the dog park is closer to the metro on the southwest side of the park. I couldn't find it the first time I visited. If you enter and see a creek, you're on the wrong side and need to keep going for the equivalent of a few blocks until you see the soccer field. Dog park is on the south side of soccer field in gated area.nThere's a slightly better dog park in Shirlington but this one is great. There's a separate fenced area for puppies and special needs dogs too.nMy only complaint is that the park doesn't have a bathroom.
A great playground. Split into two, really - one for younger kids and one for older. Lots of engaging play structures.
Always loved the courts. Baseball and seating is a plus..slice of serenity in Arlington. Maximize well kept green spaces.
The new playground is fantastic! Highly recommend for the 3-7 year old set.
My favorite dog park. Gravel instead of dirt
