Tyndall's Point Park

Awesome place to close your eyes and imagine history being made in this very spot. Take a walk around, read the plaques, sit on a picnic table and enjoy the history.

The park is an up and coming treat to the area. It is still under construction but most of the work is complete. They have made a very nice facility for kids and adults alike. There is ample parking and easy access from Route 17. We are looking forward to see what will be done.

Google maps directions were wrong at the end. Turn left and go around the bend. Parking on the right. Small park with plaques about Revolutionary and Civil War.

Nice place to sit and eat

Neat little park with Civil War earthworks. It's well maintained (excepting the dirty waysides). If you're a military history buff in the area, be sure to make a quick stop while you're here.
