I will be back. It is a lovely place to lunch with the girls - or guys for that matter - but definitely caters to a time gone by. The chicken salad in a breadbowl was terrific, and the decor fun. 10/7/20 - Update - the owner has retired and trying to sell the business...this gem of a tranquil meeting space may be gone - so check in to see.

Service had been slow on both my visits. We had to wait 20 min for someone to help us. We waited 20 min to just get recognized after being seated. Then 20 min to get our orders and 20 min for the food. (Again on both visits). Your atmosphere and food is wonderful. Just need some help or better organization

I visited on trip to Roanoke. I couldn't wait to get back. They have decadent chicken salads, wonderful homemade bread and the sweetest gift shop. It has a lovely atmosphere. After this review, I think Kim should share her recipe for her warm cranberry almondine chicken salad with toasted pecans with this Kim!!!

An absolutely wonderful place to meet with friends or dine alone. The service is very wonderful and the atmosphere is the coziest I've ever seen. The tea is amazing and you can choose to buy some for brewing at home. The menu is small but not to its detriment, as each order is made in house and absolutely delicious. The chicken salad is my all time favorite food. The White Oak Tea Tavern is my absolute favorite place.

It's a wonderful place. Good food, nice gift shop and wonderful peace atmosphere. My daughter and I have gone for the last 6 or 7 yrs. Love it.
