I love Cuban Island! I eat hear 2-3 times a week! The owner keeps the place so very clean and you can trust that the food is good every time. Large portions and everything on the menu is wonderful! You cannot go wrong eating here! Try the tamales, I am addicted to them!

Came to Roanoke for a weekend trip. Couldn’t believe there was a Cuban restaurant. Even more excited how delicious and authentic this place is. Tastes like the islands. Ordered the Cuban sandwich, a classic, it was very delicious. Also got the ropa vieja which was very tasty and filling. Tried the stuffed potatoes, something new for me, they are perfect and was a very good option for my toddler to eat. The thing that led me to leave a review was the lemonade. It’s so good! The perfect addition to so much flavor.

An awesome Family Restaurant. True hospitality and will do whatever you ask. The owner has plenty of time to come and talk with you. It is definitely a great change from the normal restaurant fare.

Good place to get Cuban food when not in Florida. The owner is friendly and helpful with menu items. We will be back!
