I'm not sure if I saw a juvenile bald eagle or an osprey dive into the river 3 times today. On the third time, it had a large, silver fish in its talons when it flew away!! What an awesome sight!!! I wish I had brought binoculars. I also saw a bald eagle and 2 osprey just sitting in a tree. Bring your binoculars!!!
If you like large, open parks, this place is great. Tons of parties going on during the weekend though. The walking trails are pretty busy when the weather is nice. So be prepared. Very nice place to be.
My daughter had my sons bday party here . It was clean and spacious for the kids to run and play. The grills worked great. The kids had a blast.
Nice open space. Looks like a great spot for fishing in the river. Very chill, no one really bothered anyone.
It gets a great deal of use and it's a big open field with river access. Not the cool part of the river but it is nice to sit or explore. It will tire out any kid with tons of energy. It's a blank field mostly. Although I'm critical of this park it really is nice to have such a wide open space to explore.
