We are new to this area, so we didn't know who to go to for electrical questions. RDS was recommended by our neighbors and, boy, were they right on the ball. Their over-the-phone assistance was GREAT! Joey came to the house for our needs. He was perfect; nice, cordial, did the job with no fuss or muss, went thru how to use our new generator, what to look for with any problems and did an all-around great job. We would HIGHLY recommend this company for any electrical needs.

I can't say enough good things about the service I received from Expert Home Electric in Fredericksburg VA. My problem was a wall heater that quit working. Karen quickly scheduled my appointment and the technician Joey came out and diagnosed the problem as a broken wire to the main panel. Once in the main panel, Joey showed me many deficiencies that were safety hazards in the old main panel. Being an engineer myself, I quickly understood the severity of the problem and I could see that he was being honest, the panel was a mess! The owner RD Samuels contacted me several times during negotiations with my insurance. He was patient, thorough and in the end was able to work with the insurance to provide the necessary coverage. Karen scheduled the repair for Tue sday the next week. Joey came out and worked all day to take out the old panel, install and reconnect the new one. which was not an easy job due to the age of the panel. Mr. Samuels came to the house several times to check on the job and to disconnect/reconnect main power. They are a real team! Very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. Turns out the heater wired burned up in the attic at an open splice. Joey gave me the burned wired and I know this could have easily resulted in a house fire. Joey identified and showed me several other open splices up in the attic and I will not use these circuits until they are repaired. I highly recommend Expert Home Electric if you want an honest, hardworking and professional team of electrical experts who will ensure the safety of your family and property.
