Very friendly line crew. Beautiful facility. I thank the airport for the use of the crew car. The airport is about 3 miles from main part of VA tech campus with good bike road between. Five stars for sure!
Great facility, even better people.
Only there to pickup passengers, didn't go inside. Small private airport.
Can’t get in and out after hours without calling the police? Is that a joke? When the police do come they require a copy of your drivers license. I flew in and out numerous times over a several month period and requested the gate code only to be treated like a criminal casing the joint. Also no self serve fuel, which is frankly unacceptable. Come during they day and you’ll find they don’t accept discover. No points for me on the over priced avgas. Not a shining example of an airport for Virginia Tech.
The convenience is unmatched flying to BCB to get to Virginia Tech. If you can fly privately this is an easy choice over ROA.
