We came at the perfect day and hour where there were literally no lines. Every roller coaster we got off we were able to get right back on; which I know is pretty uncommon for a theme park. Kings Dominion is fairly priced and has a nice variety of roller coasters as well has a high drop high speed roller coasters. I wish they offered better deals for public service or government employees.

The food is pricing and not much variety. We usually take a cooler with subway or something and tailgate. The parking lot is easily accessible and just need a hand stamp to return to the park. I do suggest the all-day refillable drink cup. Save you a ton of money. Park is clean and well maintained and there are rides for all ages. Have fun.

Kings Dominion will likely always be my fave amusement park due to growing up near it so it has many good memories even if I don’t get to go very often anymore. Their ADA is good, though I’m hoping for some changes post CoVID just to further work on making things better.nnBy far, my favorite event is the winter lights show. The park is mostly closed, but there’s a couple of thrill rides, loads of lights, holiday food, cocoa with no artificial sweeteners (this is getting harder to find so worth mentioning for those like me who are allergic), and loads of festive fun. I would go every night for the winter holiday show if I could!!!nnThrill rides are top notch for those who love them, like me. For ADA, you go up the exit lane and get a signature on a piece of paper to come back in about 15 minutes. The problem with this is sometimes that’s a long walk you end up doing multiple times and sometimes there’s not seating, plus that’s a lot of hands touching a piece of paper that is hard to keep track of if you are a woman with limited pockets (not hardly Cedar Fair Parks fault but something to be aware of...). You can only have one wait at a time which is fair enough. This is one of the better parks for ADA that I’ve been to, with limited hassle/good respect when getting your ADA paperwork which I appreciate.nnI love the shows as someone with an extensive background in performing arts, so if you are a shows person this can be a lot of fun, especially since there’s different seasonal shows, too.nnGrowing up everything was more Hannah Barbara themed but now it is currently Peanuts. Kids will love the peanuts themed kid area a lot!

I was stationed at Ft Belvoir VA took my roommate and her Daughter here back in 1982. Lots of cool rides. Lots of great food vendors. We spent. The whole day into the evening there. Worth the money.
