Boxerwood Nature Center & Woodland Garden

Peaceful. A great place to relax, picnic or learn something new. Great for kids and little ones have a creative playground where the parents can relax and maybe get in a few pages.

The first time my family came to Boxerwood, I thought we had stumbled into an actual fantasy land. The kid’s play area is so magical, and so is the rest of the property. We’ve gotten up close to deer at the feed box, and seen all kinds of birds and other wildlife. We travel frequently between North Carolina and Maryland and Boxerwood is always our halfway break. We all love it.

What a gem! Had the places to ourselves and really enjoyed the experience. Beautiful flora laid out organically so it felt like a treasure hunt. So happy to see honey bees! Highly recommend and deserving of much more than the $5 donation.

Great little wonderland bundle. Post-covid, bring your little ones to explore nature and play in the park.

So much fun for the whole family. I can't wait for the kids trail to open again.
