I've lived here for 11 years and while the commercial development around the Ladysmith area is stagnant people here do realize the benefit of living at this location for access to Richmond or DC considering the exit is a 15-minute Drive if you're headed north to Fredericksburg or Ashland if you are headed south. We have a huge Lake multiple beaches great events a huge community pool and an HOA/POA that isn't entirely strict on Aesthetics of houses allowing many owners to make their properties beautiful without restriction that some other neighborhoods place on their owners
