The Lettuce Bowl

I ordered the Cobb salad which features avocado as one of the ingredients and I received 2 extremely small pieces that were completely rock hard. I think training your employees to communicate when you do not have a fresh ingredient rather than being given something completely inedible is better for your business. It does not give me faith in the overall quality of their ingredients nor do I trust that I will be communicated with upon going there. Maybe I came in on a off day but first impressions are everything.

I was so excited to try this place out. However I have mixed reviews. We got 3 salads, 2 build your own and one of their specialty salads. The specialty salad was LOADED with toppings and lettuce, the lid barely closed. The build your own salads were FAR less of a portion. (Without weighing) I'd say about half by weight. The portions of the toppings were not enough. I may give them another try but for 9 dollars for a cold salad, you should receive more.

Both Build your Own Salad and Tex Mex were delicious, fantastic portion sizes and fresh ingredients! This is the second time we've had dinner here and both visits were impressive. Well done, and we hope you stick around in Altoona.

Very disorganized, music playing so loudly I had to tell the girl 3 times my order. You were only able to get certain sandwich options, rest were order online only. Salad was avg. ...not worth the money. I have been to other salad places and spent more and would go back. I might give this another try hoping it's new business work out but for now won't go back

Disappointed got the pasta instead of lettuce, it was far too overdone. The avocado was unripe. There were lettuce bits all through out. It was a decent portion, but after 3 bites the trash can got it. They really have some sorting out to do.
