As a family, we love attending the school events and we feel part of a welcoming community.
Fabulous small catholic school located in the heart of South Boston. We live in back bay and despite being surrounded by good private schools, elect to do the 15 minute commute to SBCA. The school is that good. Yes, the tuition is a fraction of what we'd pay here in back bay, but we send our two sons to SBCA not because of the lower tuition, but because our son's education over the last two years at the school has been to a very high standard. For children leaving elementary school SBCA also does an incredible job at ISEE preparation. Combine this with the outstanding pastoral care, caring teaching staff and small class size and you have a great formula for your children's academic success going forward to secondary school. Our eldest graduated from SBCA and is now at Latin School and doing very well. The school is open to people from all faiths and those looking for a school with rigorous academic standards and very modest tuition should give SBCA a look.
