If at all possible, please do not have your child attend this school. My grandson is at this school. He has fallen back 3 years or more in his learning. The teachers are not equip to teach special needs children. They do not care about the children. My grandson was in the cold basement classroom with no heat sitting around a electric heater this winter. He is only learning sign language because he is in a class with nonverbal children. He is verbal and needs to learn speech not sign language. He was taught sign in preschool. The state will test him ask him what are apples, oranges and pears- what do they represent and expect him to know that they are fruits when he is not being educated. How does he know what a puddle is if he is not even reading books in school about them. What does he learn about rain? Is the teacher explaining to him that the rain made the puddles no. He is learning nothing. They set your children up to fail. Please if your child has any learning disabilities listen to me closely, keep him/her from this school. This school will deplete there learning. It will stagnate them and then the State will make you feel that your child has a mind of 3 year old when you know that he can write his name, say his ABCs, numbers, and everything else. They label your child has a ADHD and a problem when they are bored with nothing to do in the class. Once your child is there it's a fight to get them out!
