The Jewish Family Workshop IV is the perfect fit for my daughter. Classes are one day per week and the teachers are amazing. She has been attending since 1st grade and is now in 6th grade. I particularly appreciate the inclusive and informal ethos of the collaborative, not to mention that it's much more affordable than some of the more traditional educational paths.
I love that since the JFW IV is a collaborative, parents get to decide what happens for everything! There is no governing Temple or Rabbi deciding what is best for our kids. We get to decide. I also like that school is only on Sundays. It’s a lot to ask of children to sit in school all day long and then go to religious school and be expected to sit for that too. I am glad that Hebrew school is only on Sundays. Lastly it is extremely affordable which is always nice.
