I was recently there for a baby shower. It's a beautiful restaurant. The baked haddock was so amazing cooked and breaded to perfection. The owner is an absolute doll. She came out and said hello. Our room was set up perfectly and the waitress was extremely attentive. We didn't have to look for her 1 time she was also amazing. Definitely going to do all my parties there from now on. Maybe even my wedding.
Amazing food.. I got the seafood casserole with Angel hair pasta... Great food... Talked to Val about having my rehearsal dinner there. She was friendly courteous and kind. Will definitely go there again.dinner for 2 people with dessert was less then $70.
Val's Restaurant is a Holden landmark. Usually the food here is pretty good, but the past few times we have gotten take out (since quarantine began) the quality has been poorer. There have been mistakes in the order, the food is sometimes cold, and my usual favorite dish (the steak tips) were ordered medium rare but served well done. Regardless, I'm sure we will be going back. As a side note, I do miss their pizza and sandwiches. It was one of my favorite places for take out.
Great food and portions, nice patio with heaters and live entertainment
Food is delicious. They will make some dishes gluten free upon request, but I do wish there were more gluten free options. Pricey but portions are good sized. They gave me the wrong salad dressing and I did not realize until I was home. Wasn't going to drive back just for that, but attention to detail is especially important when the customer has celiac, or gluten allergy.
