This gym has been perfect for my needs. Has everything and the gym is very clean. Plenty of space to workout comfortably and not busy any time I have gone. Would highly recommend!
The way that they've handled the covid-19 pandemic has been really disappointing. Charging members well after the pandemic started, and only providing a future credit after the MA Attorney General had to get involved. The staff has been insensitive and quick to anger.nnEdit: I see BSC has replied. I had to pay a significant amount of money just to close my account because (1) I was not notified the gym was reopened and (2) was not notified that my account was still being charged.
Their disreputable cancellation policies sit on the fringe of acceptable consumer protection standards. Jonathan Badot, Regional Business Director, showed lack of sensitivity and understanding during the unprecedented circumstances presented by COVID. Would urge you to find a gym that better values their customers.
Karl - couldn't agree more. I had emailed them when they were closed to cancel my membership. They did not do so and charged me when they opened back up. I called to get it reversed, but they said they only cancel over the phone (apparently I could have left a message), or in person (couldn't do that with the gym closed!). I'm also unemployed and won't be using the gym a single day this month, though I'm forced to pay.nnI was a member there for about six or seven years. While I found the gym serviceable equipment broke down quite a bit, the locker rooms were filthy, it was costly ($86 per month), and every time I left something behind I never got it back.
To cancel my membership, I can only go to the gym or by letter. No E-mail or Phone options.
