Very friendly place to practice martial arts. Incredible staff and atmosphere.
I have been coming here for taiji for almost 20 years. I love this place.nThe instructional quality is unsurpassed. Master Tabor is one of the best martial artists anywhere. Besides being super skilled in martial arts, his classroom demeanor and personality is great! He makes it very enjoyable to be there and learn.nThe other students are all nice.nI have been to other schools but have found this place by far to be the best.
If you want to the best experience for yourself and your child to ensure you reach your full potential mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Allow yourself the opportunity to reach for an experience that makes you feel happier, more joyful as you feel more energy throughout the day. For children it is a wonderful program to allow them handle their emotions and feel more fulfilled by having their peer group as friends, as they grow correctly by working together, having the ability to develop at their own personal pace as well as take on the scholar athlete mindset. This is the key to a successful life: consistency, mindfulness (cultural growth and individual responsibility) physical fitness and mental training. The benefits from this program is a more powerful choice for your child than study centers that help out their grades. Those are valuable however if you want to develop a complete range in your child Life Skills Martial Arts would an incredible place to start.
This is one of the most authentic martial arts studios in the area. The owner has annual trips to China with the students, where he has established deep roots thru the years. Life Skills believes teaching character, integrity, and leadership for the next generation is a necessity. Lastly, I just think the bamboo garden is a nice aesthetic, and brings home how environmentally, and culturally sound this place truly is.
In full disclosure, I am not a member of Life Skill Martial Arts. But, over my 25 years of training, I have interacted with the owner many times, and I can affirm that he is an extremely knowledgeable instructor and upstanding human being.nnProfessionally, I have also trained alongside his staff as we underwent specialized instructor certification for kids educational methods.nnI can certainly and without hesitation recommend Life Skill Martial Arts for anyone looking to start a new adventure, whether as a developmental program for children or as a powerful and potentially life changing step in your journey through adulthood.
