One of my kids practise soccer here. Looks little beaten up but very quiet and calm place.

The parking lot is crap, unpaved, really muddy and soft, and the service road into the park whilst short is not well maintained but hey if your coming here you've already got an SUV as your towing your boat right! (that's what most people who aren't watching their kids play soccer are here for)nIt is a good place to walk the dog (not on the soccer field!) but around it - there's also a hillside path around the field overlooking the pond but it's a bit rough and not well maintained, NOT a place to go to after it rains or wet snow but in the middle of winter when it's hard packed or dry in the summer it's quite scenic and semi-secluded. (i'd advise to watch out for ticks)nKeep an eye out for the odd car parked near the end in the most out of sight place near the boat ramp whenever your there, seems popular but as to why you'd want to park here other than to be not observed is beyond me. (SHADY)nThe kids playground is basic but fenced and whilst nothing to write about at least it's someplace for the younger ones to be safely contained in.nIn the summer i'd be happy to recommend but in the wet and cold it's best of avoid unless you like mud.
