Kim and her staff were wonderful! The precautions taken during covid may seem extreme to some but they're necessary to keep everyone safe and healthy during such trying times.nnEverything went smoothly and our wedding was perfect. Kim is a go-getter and if there is something you want, she will work with you to the best of her ability to make it happen. Highly recomend!

I attended a wedding this month and thought the outdoor ceremony and indoor reception was beautiful. However, the bathrooms and most parts of the building were very hot and poorly lighted. Also the reception ended abruptly before the bouquet toss, toasts, and dancing could occur. Very disappointing as I felt rushed to leave. Good for small, simple ceremony.

The view of the Kentucky Castle from the patio of the winery was beautiful! The tables were set up as I asked and the napkins were draped beautifully.nThe a/c unit is too small for the building and the bathrooms were like a sauna! There are no electrical outlets in the small bathrooms and the lighting is not good for checking/applying makeup. There is no place to store food or drinks. Many of the chairs needed to be painted, so plan to use chair covers.nThe owner was kind to me, but I was very saddened and disappointed to hear from various guests, officiants, wedding helpers that they were treated rudely.nDon't plan to have much decor to put out and take down because you will barely be given time to set up and then get your stuff out.

They were very happy and helpful people.

This venue is beautiful, no doubt. However the owner is very difficult to work with. One of our vendors told us that they considered refusing working with us bc of past experiences with ownership. Our experience with ownership was horrible as well. Mainly, when there electrical capacity couldn't withstand the caterer's food warmers and power was lost, the owner was unaccommodating. She blamed the caterer and then got defensive and acted negatively towards family. In addition we were asked to buy more of there alcohol half way through our reception bc we were told that we were going to run out. We left with an extra box, full of there wine. My wife and I were married there in September of 2018 and we're very disappointed with our choice. After debating on whether we should remain quiet or speak up, we decided to leave an honest review to inform those who may use this venue. The owner reacted by disputing our review and claiming that we never got married there at all.
