I worked with tutors at Apt Tutoring & Test Prep in a range of subjects throughout middle school and high school. I always found that the tutors went above and beyond in not only helping me to improve critical skills like study habits, specific class subjects, and time management, but served as a source of support and encouragement. Apt Tutoring & Test Prep helped me to become a more confident student and believe in myself which later contributed to my strong academic performance in college. I attribute the good study habits and organizational skills that have been critical to my success in college to the tutors who helped me build them at Apt. I think it is never too early for students to build their confidence and skills in an academic setting and Apt is a great place to help anyone to do so. Apt Tutoring offers something so unique and valuable (that is hard to find in other services) that is their incredible tutors who strive to build a genuine support system with each of their students.
I feel so lucky to have worked with Lisa Gelman and the rest of her team at Apt Tutoring, notably Sally Russell. They were (and still are) very encouraging, optimistic, and responsive to my needs since day one. I genuinely looked forward to each session I had with them, as they were both enjoyable AND productive. Sally's expertise in personal/supplemental essay writing, coupled with Lisa's knowledge and passion for the college search/application process helped me get into my dream school. I truly could not have done it without Apt!!! :)

Apt tutoring is a wonderful place! The tutors are patient, knowledgable and truly care. The growth I've seen in my son's study habits and grasp of the information since working with the tutors at Apt is absolutely amazing.
