Nice facility with great swimming pool but men's locker room and lockers are in terrible shape. I've been a member for around 45 years and I don't believe the men's locker room has ever been upgraded. Worst yet, I've been told by the front desk personnel that upgrading the men's locker room is not planned as part of the upcoming 4 million dollar upgrade of the whole building. I couldn't believe it! I am hoping that they are wrong and that we will get a new or refurbished locker room.

Not a good experience for me, elder with disabilities. No one there to help me out with the layout of the complex. Instructions on how to use the equipment safely and effectively. A front desk illequiped on manners and assisting new Silver Sneakers members

Staff extremely friendly and supportive, right up to the point when one passive aggressive Harriman had me ejected by PPD and then tampered with my auto-paid membership by surreptitious and quite illegal manipulation of the computer files in a (failed) attempt to interfere with my nation-wide membership priveledges. Justice will be coming to this homeless-paranoid, ageist discriminatory cabal that currently holds sway in this wonderful formerly accepting and non-Albany community!

The facility is well-maintained and staff is very welcoming and helpful. The main area I use is the gym. If you make this choice, know that you are still paying for the other amenities, which will cost around 45$ per month. What I end up with is a pretty darn expensive gym membership once my student discount expires. Unfortunately, many of the other members do not follow proper gym etiquette, and you will spend time picking up after others- especially the weights.
