This place is an absolute MUST when in Sitka. I’m from WA, and Sitka experience wouldn’t be full without visiting this delicious food truck. The food is AMAZING! The service is also great! Just visit, you won’t be disappointed!
I have to break this down a little....these girls are very on top of their service and the pricing. They were very friendly on the phone and in person. Menu items are fair priced. Although I found the flavors good, I would like to see a more refined offering. The Mac and cheese could be a less dry with more salmon flavor. The lingcod sandwich was definitely tasty with a melty cheese. I would like to taste a little more of the poblano. With that being said, I will eat here again.
The food here is delicious. Anything you order from their menu will be great, you can’t go wrong. Definitely a must-visit location every time I’m in town and it’s even better when they’re out at Baranof Brewing and the fish and chips can be paired with a beer.
Flavors were all excellent and the staff was friendly and got through the large line surprisingly fast. The wait for our food after ordering was pretty long, though. We got a ling cod sandwich, 3 piece fish and chips, and smoked salmon mac and cheese. They were all extremely good, but the batter on the fish was a bit undercooked right where it was in contact with the meat. It had a fantastic yeasty flavor to it, though. My only other complaints are the lack of table space (not much a food truck can do about that, but still a problem) and the small amount of fish on the sandwich. I still highly recommend trying this place, if you have an opportunity. Just know that it will be a bit of a wait and there's no seating.
