Pāpalaua Wayside Park

WOW! So beautiful! The beach here is long with plenty of room to share. The water is clear and coral isn’t too far away to snorkel too. Picnic tables are sprinkled around the park as well as plenty of trees for shade. They’ve also placed porta-potties and trash cans at base of park. Another bonus is the location. The park sits where you can see Molokai as well as one of our sister islands. And capture the gorgeous Hawaiian sunset as it sets right in front of you. The sand here is soft and almost luxurious. Almost ethereal, I highly recommend considering this beach.

Beautiful long shallow beach with great snorkeling diving reef areas for those still learning

When the waves are big this is a fun spot to surf. when the waves are small this is a fun spot to snorkel.

This is a great beach for sunsets. We usually camp here and when the traffic dies down at night, all you hear are waves breaking on a sandy beach! It has lots of parking and enough porta potties to handle the families that camp in the area.
