A nearly perfect beach!

The tide pool is great for small kids to enjoy

We loved this beach. The snorkeling wasn't great for us, but someone else that same day told us they were able to see a lot by going farther out. However, the beach was not crowded and the waves were a little on the bigger side, which was perfect for playing in. There are outdoor showers, and there are bathrooms, as well as picnic tables, which are sometimes shaded. Bring your own chairs & umbrellas.

Spent three hours at this beach and the facilities like the bathrooms and picnic tables were very nice. The bay is a good snorkeling spot and one of the few places where I saw an eel. The waves are gigantic with the largest waves being taller than twice my height. The current is also strong swimming to the reef is difficult without fins so make sure to bring a pair. This beach is excellent for people who enjoy being ruthlessly pummeled by the waves and snorkeling.
