Great stop right as you get into the park! Short and easy hike that is totally worth it! Loved that the trees have signs with their names and info about them.

Enjoyable in spite of the rain. Many old imported trees. The trails are undeveloped, but quite easy to negotiate.

Alien forest worth the smell alone.

First come first serve free campground. Really well maintained and nice to camp at if you're watching the sunrise to help minimize the drive. Would stay again but definitely gets cold.
