I ordered a breakfast sandwich and açaí bowls, and they were delicious. The price was also very reasonable compared to other places on the island. The ambiance was lovely and I enjoyed talking to the people working there, they were very relaxed and prepared my order within 5 minutes.
Two stars for 1) funny online menu and 2) actually getting food that turned out edible. 3 stars removed for 1) assemble your own sandwich from this pile of ingredients, even though you paid $12 for it 2) okay I paid these people 75¢ for tomatoes in my sandwich and 15¢ for half and half in my coffee and received neither. It's not the money, it's the principle of the thing! 3) 2 slices of toast ≠ everything bagel. It is not that hard to put together an order where everything is spelled out!
Laid back great staff and coffee. Sandwiches are made to order and tasty but don't expect it to come out fast. Sit and enjoy a beverage while it's being prepared.
The coffee, food, service and staff at Cafe Cafe is wonderful. This is such a local treasure. They care that your order is exactly what you want, offer suggestions for both your good and your adventures while you visit. We had a free credit at a local big chain coffee shops but used it for merchandise and had our coffee here. Enjoy and Aloha.
