Sassy and rude gate agent. Delta is a great company with many incredible gate agents. All have been nice and reasonable people (it's rare I even have a question) . This one just snapped on a simple question. I would be happy with any response other than a rude unkind response. Plus I was the only one in line.... why be rude??? Ed Bastian, please let this one go!

As a loyal Delta customer, I chose to fly with them as often as possible. I am shocked at how poorly managed the OGG operation is. Our flight had us taking a layover to Honolulu, and Delta’s app would allow us to check-in to our flights. We waited at the ticket counter for 30 min before someone finally told us that Delta’s counter wouldn’t open until 6-7 PM, thirty minutes after our flight was supposed to take off! What Delta failed to advise us was that we were booked on a different carrier and had to check in with this other carrier (Hawaiian). That was strike 1. Next, the baggage attendant told us that We’d have to pay extra for our baggage because Hawaiian’s policy differed from Deltas. That is strike 2. Next we discovered that Delta failed to forward our TSA precheck status to Hawaiian so we had to wait in a longer line to get to the gate. That is strike 3. This has been the worst Delta experience I’ve had this year, and it will be difficult to win my travel loyalty back. If you are flying to Maui, I highly suggest booking with Any airline but Delta.

If I could I would have given zero stars for customer service. Delta not my choice! Try to avoid to book it for business travel. Horrible experience!
