This airport is quite dated and needs renovation. There were very limited food options so try to eat before you come. Everything but Burger King and Starbucks was closed even though the Google Maps hours said all of the restaurants were open. The rental car return is very easy here though and the bathrooms are clean.

Relax in the cultural garden before your flight if you’re early. One place none of the tourists seem to go is actually into the cultural garden area. It’s a lovely place to sit and read your book if you’re early. Or you can go sit next to your gate with 100 other people. Our cell phones tell us when boarding happens and it’s within walking distance of all the gates, you should go sit here instead of with the masses- the kids can run around too- if you think about it, bring some frozen peas to feed the coi fish!

Flew in today, a bit confusing at times alot of construction going on, but fairly easy to navigate around just read the signs. Customer service was great, information desk was willing to help and very knowledgeable about the airport. In baggage claim very nice worker helped me load all of my huge bags into a car. Very lovely airport very nice people

Pretty old airport. Not too big. Little crowded since it's an island and not too much space. Always nice to come visit here for the island. Lots of airlines are traveling here from all over the world. One of the most popular places of all Hawaii islands. I liked Maui too. Wish they would make this airport more modern and use friendly
