Elowah Falls Parking

Out of all the falls I was able to visit while here, Elowah was the best. Be prepared there is a rather long hike to it with incline and decline but it's worth the effort. It is more secluded with a nice private feel. The fall itself is beautiful and massive. Theres a neat little bridge to stand on and bask in natural glory!

As far as hikes go, this is pretty easy and short. There is some elevation gain over the course of a mile but it is doesn't get too extreme.nThere are two different falls that can each be reached within 2 miles. Elowah is on the lower portion and McCord takes you winding up the cliffside to peer down at Elowah below. Guard rails along the whole way.nnIn order to access the parking area, you need to go via the historic highway. You'll miss it if you go on the 84 as there are no exits.

Nice hike, beautiful falls!! The reason it only gets 1 star, is that some ass hat busted out my car window and stole my fiance's purse that was under the seat and covered with a towel. BURN IN HELL THIEF!!! I hope you OD on the meth you buy with what you stole!!

A great hike with long offshoots and lovely falls.

Elowah Falls was better, but the hike to Upper McCord Falls was neat. The views were incredible.
