NE 130th Street Public Shore

It's so great to have this public access to the lake here. Lots of families take advantage in the summer. It's also a nice place to sit and enjoy the view of the water.

It perhaps doesn't look like it, but this former lot is a public beach (since 2019) for all of your beachy needs. Please stop by and enjoy a brief respite from your jog or bike ride along the lake.

Lovely little beach that's very calm and protected. Some folks have brought by plastic chairs you can sit in if you'd like. So glad we saved the beach!

Love hidden or unknown public spaces. The 130th Beach Park is right off the Burke Gillman sandwiched between two houses. Great place to walk to with kids or sit and read a book. Reminds of the lane end parks in other parts of town.

So glad that public access was upheld. A tremendous victory for a community treasure.
