Woodstock Campground

Beautiful for star gazing. Owner is a really nice guy who keeps an eye on everything but doesn't babysit. Lots of firewood available for cheap, and lots of space to spread out. Will camp here again. If you're planning to drive to trailheads this is a great campsite to bed down at.

Got lost looking for our Air BNB late into the night, found Ronnie’s campground and has to make an emergency stop to set up tent around 1am. Ronnie found us in the morning and was really cool about us setting up late without a reservation, and gave us a really awesome experience.nnRight next to entrance to Boone National Forest/Chimney Top, highly recommend staying here. His dogs are really cool.

Nice small camp ground, Bob the owner was very nice and has firewood to purchase on site. No bathroom facilities so be prepared. Awesome views of the stars and Milky Way if the sky is clear

Beautiful property and great hospitality!

Easy to find and conveniently located near some of the best short hikes in Red River Gorge. It’s a great place to enjoy the stars and gather around a roaring fire. TIP: Circle the cars and tents to add a little privacy.
