Such a secret place. Just by walking the ground you can feel the reality of how eternal things are for us and that earth is just a step stone to Gods eternal plan!

The Temple is a smaller one, but Absolutely stunning.

Beautiful temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The grounds are peaceful and well maintained. The temple is a sacred space where families are strengthened through a focus on personal commitment to God and the development of healthy, long-term relationships with close and extended family members. This is done through ceremonies and ordinances such as eternal marriage. The temple is open to all people who take the time to prepare to enter and are willing to respect and live according to the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. People interested in learning more about temples, the work of building eternal families, and the process of gaining entry into the temple may contact local missionaries, the Oregon Eugene Mission Office, or a Latter-day Saint friend.

Peace, calm, real meaning in a crazy world.

I love the Medford temple. I try to go a couple times a year, but with meetings in Sacramento I make it to the temple there more often. The Medford temple is small. They don't have clothing rental, cafeteria, etc. You also have to call ahead if you have a group. We called ahead and still they let some locals in instead of those in our group even though we were attending a live endowment of someone in our stake. I felt terrible for those left out, but they did other ordinances and we all enjoyed time together afterward. Those in the temple are generally super kind and attentive. They were really good with a couple from our ward who were recently endowed and then sealed. Unfortunately it was closed last time I was able to go. Next time!
