REACH - River's Edge Academy Charter School

I’m so thankful for the amazing education I was able to get at REACH! While I was there the two Education Specialists I had the joy of knowing pushed me to do my best in my education and were there to help when I needed it! I found it very beneficial that they encouraged me to take college courses at Rogue Community College while in high school so that I now have most of my general education finished going into university. REACH also helped me to balance my ballet schedule with my schoolwork which helped me to get into a college that I love!

They are the best school my kids have ever been in. The curriculum is to each individual. The staff are super super friendly and a lot of fun. The kids absolutely love the teachers. They know everyone by name, kids and parents and they're not just numbers. They have small class sizes and are able to give the kids more one on one. They truly have the kids' passions at heart. One of my kids had low reading and math and in the short time of being there, they are almost up to grade level or passing grade level. I would highly recommend Rivers Edge Acadamy Charter School to anyone! Thank you REACH for everything you do!!!!

Would not recommend. School is probably out of compliance with a dozen oregon education laws, especially in special education, if you have a special needs kid reach will deny them their rights. High staff turnover means kids don’t get the individualized education they’re promised. Teachers seemed stressed and unsure what they were doing a lot of the time. I heard a lot of them aren’t even licensed.

This school does what they can to help your students with their problems. They spend more time with your children than any regular school can. We came from California and did homeschooling there and were afraid that we would not be able to homeschool here when we moved. Boy we’re we wrong. I found this school from a friends recommendation and I’m so glad that I did. They are not perfect but they do give their all.
