Vineyard Christian School

I had never heard of Vineyard Christian School in all the years (32 years) of living in the Rogue Valley! I was in need of a school with a small, but loving and competent environment for my daughter to learn and to feel a part of. She had been to both a private school and a public school and wasn't getting all of her needs met. She had struggled to learn to read for three years and consequently all of the other subjects suffered, as a result, leaving her with self esteem and lowered confidence. She entered the public school system with a high expectancy of being able to learn what she wasn't getting at her previous private school. While she did get some help with her deficit in education, she wasn't feeling any acceptance from the other children in her grade. It made it a difficult transition, so with a heart in need of a loving environment and wanting my child to feel happy in her learning years, I looked for a different school. I feel it was a divine discovery that we found Vineyard Christian School. My daughter and I went to take a tour and we immediately felt the warmth of the students and teacher and could sense the ability of the teacher to give my daughter the necessary elements of her education. We feel very blessed to have come to be a part of the Vineyard Christian School family and would encourage anyone looking for a smaller school to come and check them out. Their teachers have been teaching for years and they have a no-nonsense approach to teaching and interacting with the students. I give them praise for giving my daughter their best efforts. She has completely thrived and returned to her love of learning. She has grown in her self confidence and I love that she gets to learn about the Lord and feel that that is just as important as her academics, to prepare her for a life well lived! My son has a been a student at Vineyard Christian School since 1st grade, he will be in the 7th grade this year. I am so pleased with the education he is receiving. The whole staff is incredible. My family had been affected by a tragedy and I know that part of the reason my son handled everything so well was because of the support from his teachers and principal. He has done so well there and is learning more there than kids in the same grade in public school. The rates are very reasonable and I will do anything I can to keep him there as long as possible.
