Matsukaze Japanese Restaurant

Teriyaki chicken is awesome, and I love the tempura shrimp! Great people, amazing service, Good atmosphere for a date night or quiet night out with family to enjoy good conversation, always clean I highly recommend it, never disappointed! 5 stars well deserved.

Excellent food

I'm delighted that Matsukaze is surviving thru the pandemic. It's an absolute GP institution, family owned, and their teriyaki sauce is as close to perfect as anything I've ever experienced. Highly recommend supporting this classic spot especially at a time when restaurants need your business the most. The best!!

Hidden Gem! This restaurant may not have an extensive menu but its worth visiting over & over. One of the best date night restaurants in grants pass, & pretty darn kid friendly also! While I'm not a fan of the tempura fried veggies or shrimp, you'll be pleasantly surprised by everything else!

Friendly and fast service the food OK California rolls in chicken teriyaki rice and green tea ice cream I love green tea ice cream and chicken teriyaki rice pretty good California rolls are my favourite but they weren't bad either matsukaze is a pretty good place to check out like it also braved vast professional kind people working there
