Not helpful at all. And a rude personality.

Let me start this review by saying I am not a fan of lawyers. Saying that, I have to admit that Mr. Hayward changed my mind completely. My problem was a sticky one involving my parents estate.nMr. Hayward was very professional and supportive through the whole process. Every time we ran into a problem Mr. Hayward found the solution. He truly became my partner during this battle. The good news is after loosing a few little battles we finally won the war.nI would recommend Mr. Hayward to anyone looking for an honest, compassionate, caring professional who's there when you need him. His fees are very fair and if you have to go to court, WELL your in for a treat. Mr. Hayward is a very forcefull presences in the court room.nI might mention that his office staff are all down to earth real people as well. I've used Jason Hayward for setting up a new business and all the legal hoops that go along with that, as well as for setting up a family trust. What's remarkable about Jason, is how personable and relatable he is and at the same time being very knowledgeable and skilled as an attorney. Setting up the trust was a very thorough affair, but went very smoothly.nnHe knew what questions to ask, and made the whole processes as simple as they could be. Would recommend to friends (and have!)

I went to Hayward to establish a business and make sure things were being done properly in a complex real estate transaction.nnHayward sat me down and started charging me just for the priviedge of speaking to him; I knew this was either a very very good sign or a horrible one. He told me that I shouldn’t make small talk because it was $30 every six minutes. It cost me about $1 for him to verbally convey that information to me in case you’re wondering.nnHe then proceeded to speak to me as if I had never graduated high school. The very definition of pedantic. It was a slow, tortuous, absolutely useless conversation in which his self aggrandization was on full display. Mama’s big boy is a lawyer now! Stand aside, customer.nnThe guy is completely tone deaf to his audience. We had a very specific scope for our consultation and he rambled on and on about issues which we didn’t care to address at that time while charging us $1 every 10 seconds. But really it’s not about his pettiness; it’s about how obtuse he is.nnOverall it was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had with an attorney.

Mr Hayward assisted me in registering a trademark for my business. The process was quick and painless, and he professionally followed up with me throughout the whole process. He was really nice to work through, and I appreciated his professionalism and excellent ability to talk WITH me and not OVER me. Registration a success! A+ experience!
