Stayed 1 night in yurt very clean more than enough room for the 3 of us, super friendly park host and will return hopefully someday soon. The heater provided didn't put out enough heat for cold early spring nights.

Paid 30 dollars to camp here in our van. Park hosts are not able to accommodate late night campers, mentioned to us how much the rate was but never told us that they did not have public restrooms and failed to provide code to restroom. Request for refund has not been answered. Looks like a lovely place, but we had to leave and sleep at Oregon state rest area. Area around camp seems to have a criminal element possibly why there is no access to restroom. If you do plan a visit I would highly recommend coming when it is light out and making certain you can access facilities you require.

Great park to get on the river in Grants Pass. It has a nice boat ramp and slow current to get your rafts or boats etc. In the river with. I usually go down the river to Griffen park so it's the perfect distance. This park also stays pretty clean so that's also nice.

I camped here for seven nights. Only because my mother lives at a memory care facility nearby. That's a plus (being close). If you have business to do in GP, I would say this park rates higher than the various high density private RV parks in the vicinity. That said, I will offer a couple of warnings for those who consider camping here. One is the park host, who lives onsite. She seemed more like a Deputy Dawg than a host. Much more concerned about a payment than making sure you enjoy your stay. Issuing threats about a fine if someone appears to sneak in. The second issue is access to the restroom. A new door code gets issued on Sunday. But it wasn't shared with me, which is problematic early in the morning when I get up. I don't use my trailer toilet. Sad to say, but Josephine County's tax base is so weak that it's recreation department is entirely a fee based system. Any county river access or day use area requires a fee. I miss the good old days.
