Nice museum with lots of local history from the dinosaurs forward. Unfortunately the county wouldn't let them open all the extra buildings without an employee in each one so just the main museum building was open. Good covid19 protocol. Would have given it a 5 if it was all open.
Fun place to stop on the way to Glacier National Park
The ice cream shop at the Old Trail Museum is the perfect place to stop on the way back to Great Falls after a long hike on the Rocky Mountain Front. One big scoop of Wilcoxin's ice cream in a waffle cone will get you home to dinner and a beer!
