Copperway Regional Trail

Nice trail from the rest stop. Beautiful flowers & wildlife. Sunrises & Sunsets are a bonus.

I added this place today. I wondered over here because it looked kind of interesting.nnFrom the signage it was clear that the only thing open was the path leading to the observation area. As you can see from the collage there are point-of-interest markers along the trail and an observation area.nnThe observation area just goes in a circle around a spot in the middle with no markers anywhere along the path nor any indication of what I am observing.nnIt's a very interesting piece of land. It's barren; looks like something catastrophic happened at some time.nnI attempted to do research, all I could find was the website for the group responsible for this. The area is very pretty, and work has been done to the creek bed.nnThere's not a lot of information, sign is misleading, the place is not well marked. Real let down. Thank God I'm a Montanan. What if this was one of our many, many visitors however?
