Our kids are 10 and 12 years old and our previous family vacations primarily centered around beach / pool time. My wife and I felt it was time for a change and booked a stay at The Ranch at Rock Creek. Although we only spent 3 nights, we (all four of us) absolutely fell in love. From check in to departure nothing is overlooked. We are an easy going family but value service and attention to detail. Many resorts cater to families and have specific activities for kids but few, if any, show the same level of respect and service to adults along with their children.nnWe partook in 5 activities, pistols, rifles, horseback, snowmobiling and fat tire biking. The guides during every activity were not only knowledgable but a pleasure to meet and get to know.nnThe food was fantastic and we made it a point to try all the local offerings including the whiskeys. We were never disappointed (a common theme).nnMy daughter and wife had tears in their eyes when we left Sunday morning, my son was wearing his newly purchased cowboy hat and I smiled knowing we made the right choice in picking The Ranch at Rock Creek to bring our family together after a difficult year for all.

We had a glorious stay here. Every person we interacted with was more than courteous, knolageble, and eager to assist us with our every need.nWe went snowmobiling on groomed trails our guide took us to the local waterfall. As luck would have it there was about 6inches of fresh snow witch made the surrounding scenery absolutely breathtaking!nThe food was absolutely amazing you could taste the live in every bite!nOur dinners came with a wine pairings that are spot on.nOur accommodation (The Loft) was spacious warm and welcoming.nThank you very much to The Ranch at Rock Creek :)

Worth the price. One of the few places where that spending this kind of money is worth it. Service was excellent, activities fun, and a beautiful ranch. Do it if you can.

Beautiful Ranch. Excellent place to stay with family with lots of activities for tweens and teens and adults. Great gluten-free options.

My wife, two teenage daughters and I spent a week visiting from Los Angeles.nnLet me begin with the fact that we are all accustomed to five-star accommodations all over the world and spare no costs when we travel. The entire cost of our stay was half of what we might spend just on airfare on a typical trip - to give a frame of what we are used to.nAlso, one of my kids is a pescatarian and the other stays away from carbs...nnThis was... an astoundingly enjoyable experience. I expected top notch service and they over-delivered to the point where I wanted to start helping THEM.nnThe activities were exciting for all of us - caught some fish, shot a lot of moving targets and the horses were so healthy and happy. Sapphire mining is surprisingly fun and if you live in the city, the stars at night take your breath.nnAnd the food. OMFG the food. Chef Josh could be running a Michelin rated joint in a big city and be wealthy AF, but I’m so thankful he’s out in Montana making wonderful memories for families and friends. I can brag that this is the most I’ve ever weighed in my life after a week of 3-4 meals a day.... the breakfast sandwich... omfg.nnWe all sulked a bit the morning we had to depart home to our concrete jungle.nnI can’t find more words to describe this place. If you can swing the costs, you’ll be very happy to spend it at the ranch. This is what every full service facility should strive to be. There was an honest mistake made by the housekeeper and the management rectified the error to the point where we felt a bit guilty for “complaining.” It’s as if the staff reads your mind in anticipation of your needs. My kids joked that they must have microphones listening in on us and everyone jumps to work as soon as they hear, “gee, I wish we had ______.” Just amazing...nnMic drop.
