Fort Custer Restaurant & Bar

Sadly I was not very impressed. My chicken fried steak was presented beautifuly, but was merely a cheap price of meat that did not seem as if it had been tenderized in any way. For $18, and in a small town bar/restaurant, I was expecting something with a bit more passion.nnMy friend ordered a burger, and they said it was sub par at best.nnThe place is small, so it seemed busy, but we were never asked how our food was until it was time to get a bill some time later. The lady serving us was nice when we saw her, but those visits were limited and we felt it was because we were not regulars.nnI will not return. I miss the old place that used to exist here.

Large area to park RV towing. The food... Well let's say, way awesome! Lisa got a nice salad with corn and beans and such. Not what we expected in the middle of nowhere. Excellent experience, thank you.

Holy $#!t guys, stopped here for a little lunch and to take my 30 min dot break... this place is gold!!! Great food! Talked with the owner while I waited, high energy and great atmosphere! Consider me a regular when I pass through town! ud83dudc4d

We drove a long way from Indiana headed to West and there in the middle of no where is this restaurant remodeled in great colors with a refreshing deck for relaxing and eating your meal. The chefs are previosly from a Resort town. They took time for us weary travels and boy was it good. Good people good food.

We stopped here while on a road trip. Great food, amazing service and would definitely recommend this! We had chicken strips, fries, fried shrimp with roasted veggies and mashed potatoes. Everything was exceptionally good! ud83dude01
