Sugar Loaf Lodge & Cabins

What a cool place. Ski from your doorstep is the truth! World class cross country skiing starting at your door. Reminded me of the hunting cabins I stayed in as a child. The smells, feel, warm stove, comfortable beds. Haven’t used an old coffee percolator in forever. Washroom is only a short walk away. The lodge is a step back in time and the perfect setting for a good game of cribbage. Was a perfect unplugged no cell service/WiFi birthday getaway. Much needed relaxation! If you truly want to unplug all you need to bring is food, drinks, and a carefree attitude!

My brother had his wedding here. Monica and Jay were unbelievably hardworking and hospitable. And the places were so amazing! We stayed in the Vista cabin which was great and beautiful! THANK YOU!

Wow, wait a diamond in a beautiful setting. Jay and Monica are great hosts and the stay in the Vista Cabin was breathtaking in the morningnwith the fresh 10-12 inches of snow. Can't wait to come back and stay again and go snowmobiling at Mount Haggin.

In the dead of night, our truck slid off the road and was stuck in 3 feet of snow Jay and Monica the owners of surgery loaf cabins and there good friend Troy did not hesitate to gear up and get us out we had a blast and everything was perfect we will keep coming back and we recommend to anyone looking for a getaway and want to know what lifes like in the countryside, do what we did come in the winter, the views and snow, test your skills and come prepared ud83dude09 to Jay and Troy you guys are badasses thank you for being the men that you are.....Monica you were an awesome host as well thank u
